L.V. Lomas is pleased to announce an extension of our relationship with Cargill. Effective August 1, 2007 L.V. Lomas has been appointed the exclusive Canadian distributor for Oliggo-Fiber Inulin, from the Health & Food Technology Division of Cargill. This exciting product is a soluble fibre which has recently been approved for fibre claims in Canada. Inulin can be incorporated into a wide range of applications including bakery, beverage, dairy, confectionery and prepared foods. Beyond fibre, these materials can also be used for fat mimicing in low fat formulations, as well as carbohydrate replacement for healthy products.

We are pleased to announce that Ralf Dietert will be joining L.V. Lomas on Monday, February 5, 2007 as Technical Sales Representative - Feed.

Ralf joins us from Land O' Lakes Inc. and previous to that, Growmark Inc. where he held positions as Technical Sales Representative. Ralf has a Masters Degree in Agribusiness Management from the University of Guelph in addition to a Bachelor of Science in Animal Nutrition. Ralf's 20 plus years experience in a challenging technical sales role will prove invaluable in this new role.
